7 Great DIY Computer Desks

In case you missed it, last week was Desk Week! We posted seven great customer desk projects. These desks will inspire you to build your own.

	Reclaimed Wood Pipe Desk with Side Shelves This was a new home office desk. Linda wanted to build a reclaimed wood pipe desk with shelving on the side. Using reclaimed wood creates an industrial chic look that is difficult to match.
	Rolling Recording Desk with Microphone Stand Britton built a portable studio desk that was designed to support recording equipment. Probably the most unique feature of this desk (something we've never seen before) is the microphone support that extends from the side of the desk.
	Wood Paneled Industrial Pipe Desk One thing that stands out on this desk is the attention to detail. The computer shelf and cord management really make this desk look great. The use of the wood paneling pulls the room together and also hides the electronic clutter.
	Natural Raw Edge Desktop on Black Pipe Base Randy used a raw edge slab from the Sierra mountains to build a beautiful custom desk. He used black pipe and fittings to support the desktop.
	Pole Mounted Monitor Desk Adam took a standard Simple Table Rugged rolling kit and customized it with some additional pipe and fittings to support two large monitors and some speakers.
	Easy to Build Barn Wood Desk Andrew's desk has a lot of character, and the construction is fairly simple. Kee Klamp fittings make the pipe base construction a snap. Andrew also used a very straightforward method for joining the boards.
	Information Systems Wrap Around Work Station Brittany used the IKEA desktops that are readily available at most IKEA stores. She joined four of these desktops together to make a complete wrap around desk.
