Shaky Wall Solid Handrail [Customer Photo]

This railing was installed by one of our customers who needed a solid handrail. The railing is supported by the two uprights because the wall is too unstable to support the load of a handrail. This customer overbuilt the railing and used the toeboard fitting to connect the railing to the stair in two places.

This is a small set of stairs leading down into our group fitness room. We were unable to attach a railing to the wall because it is a floating wall so needed a sturdy solution for our older members. The bottom post is anchored directly into concrete.
