Three Rail Walking Path Railing at Lock 32
This three-railed guardrail is installed along a steeper section of the walking/biking path near Erie Canal Lock 32. This guardrail is a new installation that protects people from a steep hill on side of the walk way. Mounted directly into the ground, each upright is made up of two 26-7 Kee Klamp fittings and one 10-7 or 25-7 Kee Klamp fittings.
The railing curves without the use of any special fittings. The fittings and pipe allow for slight deflection, giving a nice natural flowing curve to the railing.
