DIY Versatile Parkour Gym Equipment

Overview of Parkour Gym

Parkour has become more and more popular over the years. With the excitement, cool-factor, and accessibility to course building materials, it’s easy to see why.

The concept of parkour is getting from point A to point B as creatively and effectively as possible. Running, climbing, jumping, and rolling are just a few techniques a traceur (practicer of parkour) uses to traverse the cityscape. With the rising popularity of parkour, many gyms solely dedicated to the concept have begun popping up around the world.

If you’re reading this with the intention of starting your own gym or adding new obstacles to an existing gym, you’ll need the right equipment. Building large and safe parkour structures can be a daunting task. Luckily, there’s an easy solution that will ensure your obstacles are durable and strong, but also allow complete customization and versatility.

Kee Klamp structural pipe fittings have been around for almost one-hundred years and have been used in numerous applications including railings, clothing racks, bed frames, art show displays, table frames, and yes, even parkour structures. Their modular design allows the pipe to be joined without the need for special equipment or welding. Kee Klamps are easy to adjust so you can always add or remove elements on your existing parkour structures.

"Simplified Building... has done 4 projects for us thus far (Portable high bar, kids' monkey bars, 3ft lache bars, and RealLife Rig Extension). Daniel made the whole process so simple. I would forward some hand drawn sketches and photos if needed. Daniel would plug everything into the rendering software and send back the project plan to me. I would approve or ask for any modifications... It really was a smooth process each and every time."
