A Handrail Kit Suitable For Any Angle
Install your handrail at any angle; the unique handrail bracket makes it easy. Get the exact angle you need by loosening and tightening a single set screw.
A Handrail That Blends In Or Stands Out
We have a style for you. Whether you're matching the handrail with your house, or you want it to stand out. Choose the color from an array of durable powder-coated finishes. If you wish to go with galvanized steel and paint it yourself, that's fine too.
A Smooth Inline Handrail Saves You Space
Don't worry about hitting your hands on the brackets. The grab rail sits on top of the fittings, creating a continuous, smooth surface. The grabrail is in line with the posts, so you won't lose space on your stairs. Your handrail will work even in narrow staircases.
Not Cold To The Touch
Bare galvanized steel can feel quite cold, especially on chilly days. An appropriate colored handrail will help lessen the initial shock of a freezing handrail or a hot one, for that matter.
A black handrail will feel warm in cold climates. A light-colored railing will not absorb as much heat in full sun locations.
Perfect For Outdoor Use
Your handrails will withstand even the harshest weather conditions, with no signs of corrosion. Our kits use industrial strength galvanized steel tubes and hot-dipped Kee Access fittings. The polyester powder coating not only adds a great look to your rail but also withstands scratches and scuffs.
You'll have a sturdy surface to grab onto any time you go outside, take the trash to the curb, or relax on your deck.

Frequently Asked Questions
What tools do I need? You will receive an allen key with your railing kit that can be used to connect the pipe and fittings. We recommend using a hammer or rubber mallet to secure the malleable plug to the ends of the handrail and a standard drill or a hammer drill if you will be attaching your railing to concrete or brick.
How do I calculate my handrail length? This simple way to do this is to have someone stand at the bottom of the steps holding the end of the measuring tape. Walk to the top of the stairs while each of you hold the measuring tape 3 feet off the ground. Record the length when you have positioned the ends where you want the railing to begin and end. In most cases, estimating to the nearest foot works great. Tip: Longer is better. Your handrail can be cut shorter if needed before install. The mathematical way of calculating would be to measure the rise and run of the steps and then calculate the length of the railing by the following formula: Railing Length = √ height2 + length2. The square root of the height squared plus the length squared will give you the proper length of your railing.
How do I assemble the railing? This couldn't be easier. You'll receive a basic set of instructions with the railing kit or you can download them now by clicking on the download link at the bottom of this page.
Can I paint the railing? You sure can! All of our kits can be painted. Many of our customers have used spray paint to add a splash of color to their railing. Depending on the frequency of use and weather, the paint may need to be touched up on occasion.
Can I cut the tubing myself on an abrasive-wheel chop saw?Yes, you can. Simply make sure you have the correct blade for cutting galvanized metal.
Can these be mounted to wooden stairways?Yes, they can. Our railing kits come with mounting hardware for both wood and concrete included. You should have no problem mounting this railing to wood.
Do these rails or any of the parts rust? Our railings are comprised of galvanized cast-iron fittings and triple-galvanized steel rails. They are designed to withstand the elements and, in most cases, will not show rust for decades to come.
How many posts do I need?We recommend no more than a 7 foot spacing between posts. All kits up to 7 feet will come with 2 posts. Kits longer than 7 feet will come with 3 posts.
