Elegant Desk Built With Kee Klamp Fittings
A desk can be a place where work is done, games are played, or thoughts are put on paper. Chances are, a lot of us will spend a good chunk of our lifetimes behind a desk. This makes having a desk that you can enjoy looking at and being around a necessity.

One particular desk that caught our eye recently is one built byGene from Britton, Michigan. He utilized our basic table frame kit to easily construct a beautiful and elegent desk that will last for years to come.

Gene's Desk Project Details
Gene used our basic table frame kit to create a desk that's anything, but basic. As he decided to use a beautiful European walnut tabletop from Home Depot, he was now faced with the task of locating a table frame that would adequately support it. Since Kee Klamp fittings can have the same structural equivalent to a weld once the set screws are fully tightened, they created an extremely sturdy table frame once paired with our triple-galvanized steel pipe. The resulting desk was more than capable of supporting whatever was placed on top of it. Gene's finished table project can be seen below:
Our basic table frame kits only utilize two of our most simple fittings and allow for different footing options including casters that would allow the desk to be moved easily when needed.
Gene chose to use plastic plugs for the footing. The other two fittings used can be seen below.
Fittings Used in Gene's Desk Project
The 61-6 flanges are used to mount the table top to the frame while the 10-7 single socket tees are used to connect the cross support bar to the legs. The 133-7 plugs are then inserted into the bottom of the legs to prevent dust and debris from entering as well as protect flooring.
