Freestanding, Portable Parkour Pipe Structure

Kee Klamp Parkour Structure at Base Fitness

This parkour structure was constructed by Ayren at Base Fitness. Ayren based his structure on this parkour structure built with Kee Klamp constructed by Street Movement in Denmark. Given that the structure is free standing it needs the angled braces to keep the unit from swaying on the weight of laches and other movements.

Kee Klamp pipe fittings make the unit easy to assemble. The structure could also be broken down to be transported or stored if necessary. Ayren points out that the movement in the structure makes it necessary to check the fittings to ensure tightness every couple of weeks. If you are designing a permanent structure, thread lock can be used to prevent the set screws from loosening up.

Be Creative!

A list of the fittings used in this project can be found at the bottom of this post. Kee Klamp fittings come in 100s of types and shapes. They allow for a lot of creativity in design and are built to have a strength equivalent to a weld. We recommend using schedule 80 pipe on the cross bars, as that will add additional rigidity to the structure.
