Outdoor Handrail for the Front Steps
Rob, from Florida, installed this L160 Simple Rail handrail on the front steps of his home. You can see from the smile on his face how easy it was to install this handrail. He had the railing painted to compliment the exterior of his home. The railings can be painted on-site, or we can powder coat your railing for an additional cost. Our outdoor handrail can be installed on the stairs in under an hour. See the video below for an idea of what it takes to install a Simple Rail handrail.
Stair Handrail for the Back Porch
Rick, from St. Louis, installed the railing pictured above on the back of a rental home. The C50 Simple Rail allows a railing to be installed on steps of just about any angle. The C50 Outdoor Stair Railing is especially easy to install; no pipe cutting or drilling is required. Simply mount the bases and everything else attaches with an Allen wrench or hammer.
Porch Mounted Stair Railing
In addition to free-standing stair railing, there are also Simple Rail handrail kits that will attach to your outdoor porch. Porches are often designed with a flat top rail that is very difficult to grab or hold onto. Simple Rail wall mounted kits can be added to the exterior of the porch and will provide a strong, durable grab rail that can be finished to match the exterior of your home.

The Surface 518 is our most popular Simple Rail handrail. It is easy to install and can be used on almost any set of stairs. This railing is great for insurance compliance on the stairs of your home or any other area where you need handrail accessibility.
The Hybrid 518/570 allows you to attach to a wall on one end and the ground on the other. This is helpful when you need to ascend out of a basement area or attach to an existing wall on one end while allowing the railing to be free standing on the other end.
The Surface L160 is more difficult than some of the other Simple Rail stair handrails to build, but it has an elegant, finished look.
