Some projects are a real testament to the durability and quality of our ADA handrails. When Alabama needed to install an ADA handrail on their new State Park Pier they chose to use our ADA fittings to complete the job. The reasons are simple:
Durability – made from galvanized steel, because there is no welding, the risk of rusting is SIGNIFICANTLY decreased.
Simplicity – the system is simple to use and can be installed by just about anyone who knows how to use a wrench, a drill and a screw driver.
Cost Savings – when you factor in the savings in labor costs (non-specialized labor) and tall the necessary process of getting a welding permit, our ADA handrails are a clear choice for cost savings.
Check out the pictures of the project and the video:
For quite awhile our ADA handrails were only available in galvanized steel. With the addition of some fittings we are now able to offer a smooth rail surface in aluminum as well. Check out the pictures below of a modular ADA handrail made completely of aluminum pipe and fittings. Visit the ADA handrail section of our web site to learn more about constructing your own ADA handrail with our unique smooth surface fittings.
Flushing Presbyterian Church has a new ADA handrail outside their building to welcome people into their building. Just another example of how simple it can be to install ADA compliant railing with our Kee Access ADA fittings.
At Simplified Building Concepts, we try to go the extra mile to help you understand how our railing products work. Frequently, we receive quotes for complex railing jobs where the only document supplied is a 2D landscape or architectural layout. When you order a railing system from us we can supply a 3D drawing, complete with fitting labels. These drawings will help you communicate to your contractors exactly what needs to go where.
Here are some samples from a recent job. Our CSP, Sam Wender, completed the 3D drawings from the 2D layout below.
Here’s a sample of the drawings that were supplied:
Here are some of the 3D drawings that Sam produced.
Great job Sam!

We have put together a series of short videos on how to use our ADA Series 500 Fittings. Please watch the following videos to get an idea of how our ADA fittings work together.

For years welding fabricators have had a monopoly on installing ADA handrails. Our Series 500 ADA fittings make it possible for contractors to now enter the area of handrail construction. Listen to what contractor Andy Pease had to say:
"Now that I've worked with the fittings, I could build and significantly improve this same Kee Klamp project in one third of the time. This product gives fence contractors the opportunity to compete with fabricators who can bend and weld on site. Because there hasn't been much competition, I think it's a substantial market with good margins, but they can't send guys like me into a hatchet fight without a hatchet. Either way, I'm going to start knocking on doors to see if I can get the GC's that use me for fence to call me for handrail quotes as well."
Our Customer Solutions Providers will help you understand our system and get the proper bill of materials together for constructing these types of jobs.
Here are some pictures from Andy's job:
Below are pictures of an ADA & OSHA compliant handrail built by Andy Pease in Ohio. We worked with him to design an ADA & OSHA compliant handrail for two different entrances to this new building. This is a great example of how our ADA fittings can be used to design an affordable, durable and maintainable ADA compliant solution. Look for more pictures as the project draws toward completion.
